ABOUT

I’m Omkari, a documentary photographer drawn to people, places, and the strange little clues they leave behind.
I’m interested in what happens beneath the obvious na look that lingers, a gesture that gives something away,
a room that remembers someone who has left. My work lives somewhere between the accidental and the intimate,
the awkward and the tender. I’m fascinated by identity, memory, belonging, distance  and all the things we reveal without meaning to.
I photograph the moments that seem insignificant at first, but become impossible to stop looking at.
The quiet details. The contradictions. The stories hiding in plain sight.
